The Story

The mistral Seaside Bar is already counting 33 years of successful operation;however,its history goes back to 1967, when the families of the current owners founded ARGO in the exactsame place. ARGO was the first disco in the area that played vinyl music andhad a large dance floorright in its center.

In 1991, the mistral -named after the northwest French wind- opened its doors by innovating againas the area's first bar by the sea. Sincethen and until today, its adaptation to the trends of each era and its continuous renovations have not stopped.The passage of decades is also reflected in the bar's music choices. From 70's disco, to 80's glam rock and then 90's pop of today's eclectic music of some of the best DJs of Thessaloniki that blend harmoniously with the environment, completing the unique experience 'mistral'.

mistral bears the stamp of its owners, who created it by using the inspiration that came fromtheir worldwide travelling;they often brought backfrom their journeysspecial décor or little-known products(such as cachaca, aperol or lime); up until that moment,these products had nevercrossed the borders before.
